A comparative study using Spectrofluorophotometeric and Thin layer chromatographic techniques in acidic media ha been carried out for fluorescent compilers of amino acids formed with 8-hydroxyquinoline and 84ydroxyquinaldine at noted excitation and emisien wave lengths. Present study of new fluoresce complexes of amino acid were carried out using SPF on different excitation ad empirical wavelengths .The h of each wavelengths values were confirmed using TLC scanner. The fluorescent complexes of amino acids with 8-hydroxquinoline have higher fluorescent intensity as compared with 8-hydroxyquinaldine. Method adopted in these laboratories is rapid, versatile ed provides encouraging results for adoption by analytical, agricultural and biomedical laboratories.
