Studies were carried out for the extraction and recovery of copper (II) with tri-n-Octylamine from different aqueous chloride medial Parameters, such as, the effect of concentrations of extractant, copper.ions chlorides of alkalies &. ammonium, and the effects of time of contact as well as diverse ions were optimized. Maximum percentage extraction and recovery of copper (II) ions were achieved with S% solution of tri-n-octylamine (TOA) in benzene and 0.10 M NH4CI.
