A series of novel acyl urea derivatives had been synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by NMR, FTIR and elemental analysis. Their antitumor activity was tested in A-549 lung cancer cell line, Bel7402 liver cancer cell line and HCT-8 intestine cancer cell line and insecticidal activity against Mythimna separata were evaluated. Among the tested compounds, compound 3h held highest activity (45%) against Bel7402, but no activity against A-549 and HCT-8. Also compound 3c (100%), 3e (80%), 3f (60%) and 3j (60%) exhibited good insecticidal activity.
