Twenty eight quinazolinones, incorporating the moieties of N-[4- (aryloxy) J phenyl ureas, and l-ehloroacetyl-3-[ 4-(aryloxy) J phenyl ureas have been synthesised and evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal properties. Some of them showed significant inhibition.
