Beneficiation conditions of Gunga (Baluchistan) Barite using different concentrations of hydrochloric acid, in the range of (5.30%), at room temperature and for the same interval of time have been studied. With the use of 25% hydrochloric acid the world standard specifications of barite for most of barite utilizing industries can be achieved and the process is suggested to be uaed for other barite deposits in the country.
