A series of new metal complexes of tin(IV) with 2-[(3-Chloroanilinocarbonyl)] Benzoic acid Containing Peptide Linkage have been synthesized and characterized by IR. Multinuclear NMR 1H, 13C, 119Sn) and mass spectrometry. Two types of such complexes have been synthesized R2SnL2 and R3SnL3, where R=Me, n-Bu and Ph and L=2-[(3-Chloroanilinocarbonyl)] Benzoic acid IR and NMR spectral data agree with the coordination of the tin center through oxygen donor atoms. Biological screening results show that reported complexes exhibits significant antibacterial and antifungal activity against the standard bacterial and fungal strains.
