Dibenzoylmethanemono(tosylhydrazone) undergoes cyclisation reaction with butyll ithi urn and 1 ead tetraacetate to afford 3, 5-di phenyl pyrazo 1 e in good yield in both cases. Mechanistic schemes have been postulated to account for these reactions.
